Arizona Yoga Academy is dedicated to helping you achieve your dreams of becoming a certified yoga instructor! We offer trainings through out the East Valley with a start date every three months.
Arizona Yoga Academy is a 200 Hour in-person Yoga Teacher Training (YTT) . This Yoga Alliance approved program takes you through a life changing journey. Whether you want to be a yoga instructor or enhance your personal practice, our YTT program is a great way to unite the mind, body, and soul. Yoga not only improves your physical practice, but also encourages you to dive deep inside yourself with mindfulness, meditation, pranayama (breathing), and much more!

Our 200 Hour YTT Certification program has been used for more than 30 years all over the world! In this program, you will:
*Discover yoga history and philosophy
*Learn proper alignment in yoga asana (postures)
*Learn and practice hands-on adjustments
*Discover yoga anatomy and physiology
*Understand how to use props to enhance the practice
*Learn pranayama techniques
*Explore mudras and their meanings
*Learn meditation techniques
*Learn Sanskrit names of asanas
*Explore sequencing of classes
*Be introduced to the Chakras and energy systems within the body
*Learn different types of yoga modalities

Yoga Alliance Certified and 5 Star Rating
Our 200 Hour YTT program has been approved by the Yoga Alliance. Graduates are able to register with the Yoga Alliance as an RYT 200. We hold a 5 star rating with the Yoga Alliance .
Are you already a RYT?
We offer various workshops through out the year that will go toward your Continuing Education Credits (CEU's) with the Yoga Alliance. To stay current as a Yoga Alliance RYT, you need 30 CEU's. We can help! Check out our Workshops Page for more information.
